It all started with the famous bishop sacrifice on h2 in a match against Garry Kasparov. Junior shocked the world by playing like a human! It sacrificed material for no immediate apparent gain, but "felt" it would give it the initiative.

Junior was developed to gain new insights and understanding into the game of chess. Junior has a pronounced understanding of compensation, which allows its users to explore new possibilities of sacrificial attacks and sharp dynamic play.
